In this episode of the Spa Life Show, Diane’s guest is Ryan Anthony Hernandez. Ryan has struggled for years with a religious community that he thought would help him in fulfilling his dream to serve the poor and the church. At the age of 16, he experienced coercion and manipulation at the hands of the community. He had to hide what he was truly experiencing from his parents and pretend he was okay. The community he thought would protect him ended up being the ones who were evil. In today’s episode, Ryan shares his experience and journey when he joined the religious community and what he did to overcome what happened. He talks about his healing process and how he was able to forgive them.
