In this episode of the Spa Life Show, Diane’s guest is Brent Mendenhall. Brent suffered from addiction and depression. For veterans like him, survivor’s guilt is the number one driver of depression. And in severe cases, it will lead to suicide. But Brent did not let depression and addiction eat him, as he overcame those and continued to serve the people and find happiness in life. After serving in the US Army for almost 25 years, he became a Special Ops at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and retired after 33 years. He also serves as a fire service volunteer and reaches the rank of fire chief. Currently, he is a fire service instructor and working with his brothers at their company, RAD Diversified, where he is the Director of Special Operations, helping to create the future leaders of their company.
